Welcome to the Animalia Almanac project! In this project we dive deep into each individual subspecies of the four Animalian species (Bird, Snake, Fox, Beetle) and record information about them here! From where the Animalian like to live to the legends that define them, each page is filled with information about the most obscure Animalian we can find.
But what is the Almanac? The Almanac is made up of pages of research that we collect from all over the world of Animalian in order to record each subspecies' unique stories so that we can all learn more about each of our Animalian neighbors. The Almanac has some general information about each of the Animalian species, Aves(birds), Coleoptera(beetles), Serpentes(snakes), and Vulpes(foxes) but it is mostly filled with information about individual subspecies within these species.
Every subspecies in this world has an amazing, magical story to tell. From the Aura (Turkey Vulture) who have a nose that can smell the dead, to the Variabalis( variable blister beetle) whose blood is so toxic it can burn skin, to the Lagopus(artic fox) who have two morphs that constantly fight for power. The goal of the Almanac is to compile all of these cultures and stories into one place so that we can better understand the other Animalian on this world.
In order to do this we need YOUR help! We are constantly traveling around the world of Animalia to interview different subspecies but it would be a major help if you could send in information to our guild about what type of Animalian subspecies YOU are. We want to know all about you, from your subspecies to where you grew up! If you have a moment, consider filling out our form at the bottom of this page or looking around at the other subspecies pages.
The Aves pages can be found
If you would like to take a look around our guild and see what we are currently up to, visitors are welcome! We can show you around and give you glimpses at what we are working on, but if you want to see our more in depth notes and support our many travels we do have a donation box.
Oh! We also publish the old logs of our travels and previous year’s Alamanc’s that you can look at if you're curious about what we have been up to and the adventures we have gone on.
